"Family Business" is primarily concerned with the fractured familial dynamics within the McMullan family and the robbery which ironically enough is responsible for reuniting them - "There's nothing like a good robbery to bring a family together" as the poster tells us - is very much used as almost nothing more than a catalyst to examine what drives Jessie and his son Vido apart as decades old grievances gradually and inevitably begin to resurface once more.
