I know people like to bump up the ratings for socially conscious movies. That's not a bad thing. There are many movies treating different aspects of this same subject but perhaps this is the first one out of China and maybe it deserves all the awards just for that fact. I'm guessing the Chinese army of censors is just overworked and tired. These movies that portray seemingly unsolvable problems in the world just make me damned angry. Hell, that's one of the reasons I shy away from documentaries. And lest anyone here thinks this is a Chinese problem, let me remind you that it's only a few month...
