Needless? Yes. Enjoyable? Also, yes. I'm not entirely sure <em>'Lady and the Tramp'</em> was a film that needed remaking but here we are. This 2019 production is solid. I like the way it is shot and brought to life. It's rewritten in a few parts, to mostly positive effect - though the original film is still, by a fair distance, best. I wouldn't say the cast are anything exceptional but they do what's needed.
