In the interests of clarity I don't have Apple TV. I sat down at a mates place who does and we both "tried" watching the first episode of Time Bandits, the series. In short, what a disappointment. What really stood out is this has little to nothing in common with the original film, it clumsily apes. Putting aside the humour found in abundance in the original film, is a lot of, at times clever, at times dark commentary about the human condition.
