The Boys had its moments, it wasn't perfect but at least, it was engaging. Then along came Gen V. It feels, to this reviewer, more like a basic teenie drama, with a few super hero add ons, than anything else. I found the first episode, unwatchable. Not helped at all by the nasty period blood thing. In summary, a uninspiring teenie drama with a vague super hero vibe.
