A gritty, action-packed crime drama set during the brutal Tong Wars of San Francisco’s Chinatown in the second half of the 19th century. The series follows Ah Sahm, a martial arts prodigy who immigrates from China to San Francisco under mysterious circumstances, and becomes a hatchet man for one of Chinatown’s most powerful tongs.

The marketing point for this series is that this work is "based on the writings of Bruce Lee." Well it certainly does indeed; the storylines and ideologies are from that of the 1970's, which are so out of touch with the 21st century audience. If one enjoys his type of corny and nonsensical scenarios from his films in the 70's, then this series is along the lines of those films. If one is looking at this series for the martial arts elements, then you'll be disappointed too.
