After Earth is ravaged by a great religious war, an atheistic android architect sends two of his creations, Mother and Father, to start a peaceful, godless colony on the planet Kepler-22b. This wasn't really what I was expecting. It just didn't feel like a Ridley Scott offering to me. The first season, the only one I managed to sit through, seemed very drawn out, a little confused and pretty much void of any real depth. Or maybe I'm just bitter because I wanted aliens.
