Compared to the original, this remake was a total flop in every aspect without a single redeeming quality. It's significantly shorter than the original to the point it could only present general outlines of the story, stripping down all the details and relationships. The cast was questionable and their performance was a disappointment. Even the production value is incomparable to the original that came in the 80s!
