Our opening is filled with personal tragedy for our main characters, and they desperately need something new for their relationship to thrive. As bewildering as this is, it's actually kind of exciting in a bizarre way. New characters enter the picture, and they're in the same situation, and they've been injured in their attempt at freedom.
