As I started to watch "The Convent", I initially thought: oh here we go again, a period piece (I tend to hate those) and probably another really bad religious Horror movie. And not even ten minutes in, I loved every minute of it. My eyes were glued to the screen. The atmosphere totally carried me away. The acting was phenomenal, the direction by Paul Hyett as well.
