Overview

Just short of being a film I enjoyed. It's worth noting I have never seen an episode of the television series, though with this being a standalone film it doesn't seem to be a problem - I didn't feel like I needed to know anything major throughout the 102 minutes at least. I almost felt entertained by <em>'Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears'</em>. It's well acted, shot fairly nicely and has a decent plot. Essie Davis does good in the lead role of Fisher, while a few of the other cast members around do alright things. However, everything about this feels sluggish to me. It never feels str...
